School meal prices to increase

Meal prices in Waxahachie ISD are expected to increase slightly in the upcoming school year, and a waiver to allow all students to have free or reduced meals expires this month. Monday the WISD Board of Trustees approved the meal pricing for the 2022-23 school year, which features a 25-cent increase in breakfast costs at the elementary school, middle school and high school levels, from $2 to $2.25 per meal.
