In the weekend edition of the Waxahachie Daily Light it was incorrectly reported that Waxahachie’s tax revenue increased from $4 billion in the 2021 fiscal year to $5.2 billion. The city’s taxable value increased by that margin.

The Waxahachie Police Department was involved in the following incidents: Aug. 22 Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 1200 block of N.
