Students honored

Two Waxahachie High School students were honored recently at the the Educators Rising National Conference. Makenae Stone and Kyrie Richmond placed second in the Project Visualize Service Project category. Individually, Stone was a semifinalist in the Children’s Literature K-3 category. BISMARCK STATE COLLEGE Lillian Gunnels, Red Oak graduated from Bismarck State College with an Associate in Applied Science degree in electric power technology during the college’s 82nd commencement ceremony on May 13 at the Bismarck Event Center. HOWARD PAYNE UNIVERSITY Howard Payne University presented degrees to 144 graduates at Commencement ceremonies held for fall 2021 and spring 2022 graduates.
