ITALY — “The Biggest Little Town in Texas” is home to the newest Love’s Travel Stop at Interstate 35E, Exit 386. The new travel stop in Italy gives residents, travelers and professional drivers a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and last-minute Halloween candy.

The 24-hour, 10,500 square foot facility adds approximately 30 jobs to Ellis County. The travel stop provides customers with a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers, 97 truck parking spaces and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center.

“We are excited to become a part of the Italy community in the heart of Texas,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. “We look forward to offering ‘Clean Places, Friendly Face’ Love’s is known for to residents, professional drivers and travelers.”

Love’s will donate $2,000 to Stafford Elementary School as a part of a ribbon cutting to be held in conjunction with the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce. The check will be presented at the new Love’s at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting.
