This is your last chance to shop the Waxahachie Downtown Farmers Market! Saturday, Oct. 31 is our last day for the 2015 season and we have lots going on. There are pumpkin crafts for the kids back in the information booth, Halloween treats from the vendors for every child who shows up in costume and lots of great products. Our sample drink of the morning is Hot Mulled Cider.

We will have produce, including fall fruits, vegetables, greens, pumpkins, plants and lots more. We have summer vegetables including peppers, tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini and okra. Look for local honey, cheeses and eggs.

Our bakers will be on hand offering breads and pies. We have freshly baked goodies celebrating fall. Try the soft baked gingersnap cookies, double cherry oatmeal bars, shortbread and oatmeal butterscotch cookies. Enjoy a blueberry muffin or take home a streusel coffee cake for Sunday morning breakfast. Chocolate lovers can indulge in the ultimate turtle brownie. Don’t forget the fried pies, whoopee pies and jalapeno cheese bread. Be sure to stock up on the delicious, homemade tamales. They freeze well and will be ready to serve during the holidays.

Look for essential oils to sooth your mind and body and handmade unique jewelry and crafts. This is your last chance to stock up on all the canned goods, salsas, jams, jellies, pickles, beets, fruits, herbal vinegars, Think one of a kind holiday gifts.
