This was the second year the Waxahachie Preparatory Academy Lady Warriors won the tournament, which supports Breast Cancer awareness. The Lady Warriors finished their season with an overall record of 25-5-2 and a district record of 12-0, not allowing a single opponent point in district play. Waxahachie Prep, the district 3-TAPPS 1A champion, will face an opponent to be named Thursday during the area round of the district 1A playoffs at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Heritage Baptist Church, located on the 1000 block of Butcher Road.
