Rondell “Ronnie’ Mullins, age 80, of Midlothian, died Aug. 27, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born May 13, 1935 in Mountain Home, Oklahoma to parents, John and Faye Mullins. Ronnie was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He earned his bachelor’s of science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and his master’s degree from North Texas State University and was an educator for 43 years, having served 28 of those years in Red Oak Independent School District. He was a member of Cedar Hill Church of Christ and served faithfully in Children’s Bible Hour for 35 years. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda, of Midlothian; children Jerry Mullins and wife Carrie of Crockett; Jonathan Mullins and his wife Kimberly of Shore Acres; Lori Mullins of Dallas; and Brandon Mullins and wife Candi of Charleston, South Carolina; and grandchildren Logan, Ian, Joshua, Dolan, Cavanaugh, Kane, Michael, Makayla, and Brandon Jr.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents John and Faye Mullins and brothers Harry Mullins and Baby Ronald Mullins.

Funeral services for Rondell “Ronnie” Mullins will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at the Cedar Hill church of Christ in Cedar Hill with Steve Lewis, Dean Kilmer, and Gerald Bennett. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Midlothian Funeral Home in Midlothian.
