Naomi Ruth “Tudy” Bailey Irwin, 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2015. Tudy was born on Sept. 24, 1935 in Waxahachie, to her parents Joseph and Beulah Mathis Bailey. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Tudy is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Charles and Weldon. She is survived by her loving husband, John Irwin of 58 years along with their three children, Leslie Irwin, Lesa (Tom) Romney, and John W. (Janet) Irwin; and her brother, Joe Bailey. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren.
Tudy was a cheerleader and homecoming queen at Brewer High School in Fort Worth. She met her husband in 1956. During his service in the U.S. Air Force, Tudy and John lived in many places across the United States.
Tudy was a creative artist and also enjoyed researching her family’s genealogy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished each moment she shared with her beautiful grandbabies and great-grandbabies.

Private services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
