Myrtle Doris Mauldin
Myrtle Doris Mauldin, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at the age of 87.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lillie Edwards, her husband James Haskell Mauldin, two sisters, four brothers, and her son Alton Grimes.
She is survived and remembered by step-daughter Paula Booth and her husband Ronnie of Carrollton, step-son Haskell Mauldin and his wife Ann of Red Oak and step-son Bobby Taylor and his wife Sherry of Red Oak. She also has one sister-in-law, Fannie Bell Edwards of Ennis, eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Myrtle retired as a Floor Lady from Ennis Forms and sold Avon to everyone in the Ennis area for years. She will be missed by her friends at Anthony Drive Baptist Church.
A visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A A celebration of her life will follow at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Jerry Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
