The Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) announced the 2014 fall sportís Academic All-Conference teams and 16 athletes from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) made the list. To be eligible for the SAC Academic All-Conference team, students must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA during the previous two semesters and are letter winners.

Senior Jessica Giesse, sophomore Faith Hardin, junior Katie Ryan and sophomore Courtney Tobolka made the 2014 Academic All-Conference Volleyball team as presented by Cypress Risk Management. Fifty-six volleyball players made the team from across the SAC.

One hundred sixteen student-athletes have earned their spot on 2014 Academic All-Conference Soccer team as presented by Cypress Risk Management. Four members from the womenís soccer team and five members from menís soccer have made the team. Sophomore Kaylie Cox, junior Emily Jones, sophomore Kristen Lambdin and junior Gloria Lozano made the team for the Lady Lions. Making the grades for the men were senior Juan Cardenas, junior Danny Castro, senior William Elliott and junior Cesar Espana Quintanilla.

For the Cross Country team, three SAGU athletes earned their spot on the 2014 Academic All-Conference Cross Country team as presented by Cypress Risk Management. Sophomore Jose Campos, freshman Luke Flattery and sophomore Destiny Garza were listed. Fourty-nine cross country runners made the list for the SAC.
