The Lions first put points on the board with a one-yard touchdown run from their senior running back Taylor Thompson (No. 3). Senior kicker Brandon Martinek added the point-after touchdown and Ennis took the 7-0 lead.

Ennis wasn't done there though, with 48 seconds left in the first quarter quarterback Devin Smith (No.10) connected with senior wide receiver Donta Thompson (No. 11) for another Lions touchdown. Then first quarter came to an end with Ennis leading South Oak Cliff 14-0.

The second quarter was relatively quiet, the only points that were scored were off of a 35-yard field goal kick from the Lions' Martinek.

South Oak Cliff finally scored with 9:49 left to play in the third quarter when senior wide receiver Ladarryl Blair (No. 1) catch a pass from senior quarterback David Johnson (No. 15) from 28-yards out. The Bears touchdown made the score 17-7, with Ennis out in front.

Ennis answered back when Thompson rushed for his second touchdown of the night, this one from 4-yards out. After another successful PAT from Martinek the Lions led 24-7.

South Oak Cliff scored in the beginning of the final quarter when Johnson hit his target, senior wide receiver J.F. Thomas (No. 6) for a 14-yard Bears touchdown that brought the score to 24-14.

Unfortunately for South Oak Cliff Ennis would seal the game with a 47-yard touchdown pass from Devin Smith to junior wide receiver Dee Wilson (No. 17) for the final points of the game.

At the end of regulation the final score was 31-14 Ennis.
