Carlos Cisneros, a lifelong resident of Grand Prairie, entered Heaven on Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was born on Nov. 4, 1930 in Elgin, Texas to Genaro and Juana Guillen Cisneros.
Carlos worked in construction. After his working years, he enjoyed flee markets and grandchildren and great grandchildren. His love for his family was the most important aspect of his being. The family vacations to Mexico were his highlights with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carlos had so much love to give and never got mad. He was an excellent example of a very Godly man.
Services were 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Midlothian Funeral home. Pastor Dan Cooper officiated, and the burial took place at Midlothian Cemetery. Cisnderos is survived by his wife, Juanita Davila Cisneros; his children, Luis Cisneros, Eddie Medelllin, Leticia Benvenuto, Sylvia Valdez, Arthur Puente, Sam Puente and Rick Puente; his grandchildren Nancy Hernandez, Prescilla Readon, Roger Puente, Emily Puente, Arthur Avila, Robert Avila, Michael, Eddie, Danny, Mark, Eric and Erica Medellin, Jaeyden and Gaby Puente. He’s also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Carmen Cisneros and Ramona Cisneros; his sister-in-law Sylvia Puente
