Edward Church was born in Waxahachie to William and Rosa Church. On June 25, 2013 Edward went to be with the Lord. He always used to say, “when I get around to it,” so on Jan. 25, 2014 He will be placed at his final resting place until God calls all His children home.
Ed worked at Montgomery Wards in the Wynnwood shopping center in Oak Cliff for 25 years, lived in Duncanville until 1980 when he and wife Hazel moved to the Cedar Creek Lake area.
He is survived by his sister, Myrtle Shockley and her husband Dub Shockley; his wife, Pam Church; son, David McPherson; daughter, Dana Foster and husband James. He is also survived by his first wife, Hazel (Melton) Bowden; sons, Michael Church and wife Rachel, Robert Church and wife Bobbi, Gary Church and wife Kathy; daughters, Edwina Hollywood, Patricia Genzer and husband Larry.
Ed also had 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends throughout his 86 years of life.
