He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents and sister, Edna Parrish.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at Farley Street Baptist Church with Brother Richard Smith officiating.

Troy donated his body to UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. The family would like to thank Sterling House, Clare Bridge Memory Center and Family First Hospice for their loving care.
