The Internationally famous Texas Girls' Choir will be holding auditions for new members during the month of January 2014. Girls age 8 through 12 may audition for the Texas Girls' Choir.

Girls must have and adequate voice, a “B” grade average in school and come prepared to sing the first verse of “My Country 'Tis Of Thee” or a song they know well and can sing a cappella. Auditions will be held at the Choir's headquarters in Fort Worth at 4449 Camp Bowie Blvd. in the Cultural District.

Auditions will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21; 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23; 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25; 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28; and 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30.

The Texas Girls' Choir staff will audition the prospective choir members. Girls who are accepted as members of the Texas Girls' Choir can literally sing their way around the world, for in the Texas Girls' Choir's 51 year history, choir girls have performed in more than 55 countries of the world.

The Texas Girls' Choir traveled to Europe – visiting and performing in – Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain this past summer.
