The Frank Seale football teams finished their seasons last week and came up short in all four contests.

The seventh-grade White team lost 16-6, but played their best game of the season against the Worley Tigers.

The Cubs had control of the ball most of the game with a whole first quarter. The offensive line dominated the Tiger's defensive line, thanks to Tristan Little and Tyler Thompson.

Eli Ruiz led the team with over 50 yards rushing. Bryce Fuller had some nice hard runs. The Cubs ended the season on a great note with a 30-yard touchdown by Jeremiah Boldon.

The defense played the best game of the season with big plays by Brock Chambers and Cade Gilson, who caused a big fumble.

Overall the Cubs have gotten better over the year and will continue to work hard over the offseason.

The seventh-grade Blue team hosted the Jobe Mavericks and the weather was wet, which forced the teams to work the running game for most of the night.

The Cubs stood their ground early, but the game slowly slipped away from their grasp as they fell 36-0.

Offensively, the Cubs received valiant efforts running the football from Cameron Lipps, Brant Mclemore and Corbin Smith. Anthony Ferrante and Will Walton had a solid game in the trenches for the offensive line.

Defensively, the Cubs worked hard all week and the work paid off for Ben Pearson as he found himself in almost every play.

Austin Adams continued his consistent play and Dakota Andrus played a huge part in the blocking game on offense. Andures also had big efforts on the defensive side of the ball.

Cody Youngblood also impressed with a few big tackles on defense.

Overall, the Cubs worked and fought hard and their future can only get better as they move into next season.

The eighth-grade White team played their final game of the year on Tuesday night, taking on the Coble Coyotes. From the start the game was physical and intense as the Cubs fought hard, as they have all year, but lost 25-7.

The team wanted to grind the ball and the goal for the Cubs was to establish the running game against a tough Coble opponent.

Offensively, the Cubs were led by the running of Diego Gonzalez and Blake Bolgiano. Titus Mershemer also broke off a big run to help the cause.

Bolgiano showed off his arm as he connected with multiple recievers through the air. Seth Ferrell, Drake Girard, Seth Redmon and Allen Ropollo all had catches in the game. Ross Greiten, Reese Alexander and Kyle Almond also had good games.

Dustin Deerfoot continued his good season making tackle after tackle, Jett Johnson and Rider Cox also were big contributors on defense.

The Cubs had a great season, never backing down from any opponent and showing that they will be a force to deal with next season.

The eighth-grade Blue team lost a hard-fought game to Howard 35-0.

The boys played a very physical game and battled for the entire game.

Offensive standouts were Landry Songer, Jack Freeman, Dylan Hipsman, Trevor Teague and Will Oliver.

Defensive standouts were Jonathan Little, Zachary Spain, Jason Kyle, Chris Spillers and Brodie Argumaniz.

The Cubs finished the season with many highlights from the year.
