Ballroom Dance

Have you always wanted to dance smoothly as seen on “Dancing with the Stars?”

Join professional dance instructors Lou Ann Ramey & Qyn Hughes and learn dances such as foxtrot, rumba and waltz. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to start! Slick soled shoes are recommended.

Introduction to Calligraphy

Designed for the beginner, the italic alphabet is a popular introduction to calligraphy. It is the handwriting of Renaissance scribes.

In a step-by-step approach, students will learn this graceful and beautiful alphabet with basic strokes, lower case letters, capitals, numerals, and punctuation.

Italic is a modern, legible alphabet that has a wide variety of applications, including invitations, announcements, and scrapbooking.

Beginning Crochet

This class is designed for those who never learned to crochet or who learned long ago and have forgotten how.

Learn the basic stitches and how to read patterns.  Please bring 1 skein of Caron Simply Soft yarn (any color) a size H crochet hook and a pair of scissors.

Kids in the Kitchen Cooking up Art –Ages  5-12

We will have a fun time in the kitchen while mixing, cooking, and creating artwork!

Sign Language Skills

In this class students will develop receptive and expressive ability and allows recognition and demonstration of grammatical features of American Sign Language (ASL).

You will increase fluency and accuracy in finger spelling numbers and basic conversational skills.

Coffee House Basics

Have you ever been confused by the menus at a coffee house?

This class will explain just what those drinks consist of and what one can ask for to customize a drink to make it especially yours.

We will also explore the origins of different types of coffee and how different brewing methods affect how a coffee tastes. This is a perfect class for those who appreciate coffee and want to learn more about the world’s favorite beverage.

Holiday Decorating Sugar Cookies

Get ready for Santa!  You will learn to decorate cookies for the holidays to keep or for gift giving. Students will receive an icing knife, decorating bag and tip, 6 large decorated cookies and drawing for extra goodies.
