Patsy Ruth Childress, 89, of Italy, Texas went to her Heavenly home on June 30, 2022. Patsy was born in Ferris, Texas on June 18th, 1933. She married the love of her life, Tommy Childress in 1959, and together they raised three daughters in Lancaster, Texas. If you spent any time with Patsy, you know how much she loved reminiscing about traveling the world with Tommy, spending time at the lake house in Conroe, being the “hostess with the mostest” and bragging about her grands and great-grands. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Childress; daughter Melinda McCulloch; parents Guy and Tennie Anderson; brother Billy Guy Anderson and sister Colleen Watson.

Survivors include daughter Lucinda VanSchoyck and husband David of Chandler, AZ; daughter Leslie Allen and husband Brian of Italy, TX; grandchildren: Jessie Bragg of Italy, TX; Demi Allen of Aledo, TX; Andi Ford and husband Justin of Waxahachie, TX; Gus Allen of Waxahachie, TX; Sumner VanSchoyck of Chandler, AZ; Taylor McCulloch and wife Demi of Fort Worth, TX; Max McCulloch and fiancé Anna of Plano, TX. Patsy (Grandee) was blessed to have four great-grandchildren; Hiley Mauldin, Jordan Cooper, Attie Barber, and Scout Ford. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster, TX on July 22, 2022 at 10:00 am.
