The Waxahachie Indians lost this week in a tough matchup against the Corsicana Tigers, who are perennial district favorites.

While the Indians (2-1 in district) lost 10-5, there was a big positive the team can take from this match.

Waxahachie’s top three seeds all won their matches, which bodes well for the spring team when individuals can advance to regionals. The Indians’ top three seeds are Danielle Calhoun, girls singles, Justin Miller, boys singles and Miller / Carl Rodriguez, boys doubles.
