Former Waxahachie quarterback Brooke Teeter made a strong debut with Bishop Dunne Friday .

Teeter was 6-for-18 passing for 103 yards and a touchdown to help Guide Dunne to a 42-16 victory against Trinity Christian.

Last season Teeter rotated time at the quarterback positon for Waxahachie with Don King III.

He practiced with the Indians all spring before informing the coaches he was transferring for his senior year.

The move stunned the Waxahachie coaches and left the team with King as the every-down quarterback.

Teeter’s sister, Landry, is still at Waxahachie and on the JV Lady Indian volleyball team.
