FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - There will be no week off between the Indianapolis 500 and the IndyCar Seriesrace at Texas Motor Speedway next summer.

IndyCar Series and TMS officials announced on Wednesday the move as part of adjustments to the 2010 schedule.

The Texas race has been moved up to June 5, a week after Indianapolis, because of a scheduling conflict with the NASCAR Camping World trucks race that is part of the IRL weekend in Texas.

Also, the Indy Japan 300 at Twin Ring Motegi has been moved back one day to Sept. 19 to take advantage of a national holiday the following day.

IndyCar Series officials also confirmed the date of the Kentucky race on Labor Day weekend, a night race on Sept. 4.
