WISD free physicals

Waxahachie ISD physicians will be conducting free physicals for WISD student athletes on May 17 and May 19 at Solis Gym on the campus of Waxahachie Ninth Grade Academy beginning at 6 p.m.

All males athletes physicals will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, and all female athletes physicals will be conducted on Thursday, May 19.

Physicals are first come first serve. Students coming to physicals will need to have the WISD physical packet signed with all parents signatures and student signatures obtained on the forms before coming to physicals. The forms can be obtained at the Waxahachie High School main training room or through the head coaches of each of the sports that WISD offers.

Physicals on both dates will begin at 6 p.m.    Students should report with their appropriate physical paperwork and signatures.

WISD requires each prospective athlete to obtain a physical yearly for participation in athletics in grades 7-12. This will be the only time that WISD physicians will offer a free physical for the upcoming school year.

For more information please contact David “Doc” Bowdoin or Nikki Furgerson at the WHS main training room, 972-923-4606.
