Perry Nutt, Indians tennis coach, said the camp is an opportunity for youth to learn the fundamentals of a sport they may have an interest in participating in, but have not been given the chance to do so. He also adds that kids who don't bring a racquet will not be turned away. There will be members of the varsity team assisting in the camp. Nutt said there would be liquids and tennis balls available to participants.

Depending on the turnout, matches between campers could also be played.
