The Waxahachie Warriors seventh-grade Green team recently won the Midlothian Tournament.

They were victorious in all three games of the tournament as they defeated Crowley, Frank Seale, and Highland Park in the championship game.

On Tuesday, the Warriors defeated DeSoto East, 45-37.

Quinn Sargent scored 23 points to lead the Warriors, Isiah Parrish scored six points and Andre Mills scored five points.

In other action Tuesday night, the seventh-grade White team defeated DeSoto East, 44-36.

The team was led in scoring by Gerald Wigfall (15) and Logan Dorsett (8).

Waxahachie has three regular season games remaining this season.

In the Midlothian tournament, the eighth-grade Green team came up short in the third place game against Frank Seale.

The team started the tournament with a victory against Summer Creek Crowley and the lost a hard fought game against Walnut Grove.
