Nov. 1 —Volleyball: The NCCAA Central All-Region team named Kelani Keoho, Esther Jaquez, and Sarah Strasemeier to the team Keoho was named the Most Valuable Player. Head Coach Hank Moore was named the Coach of the Year.

Nov. 3 — Men's Basketball: Julio Osorio and Matt Daniels each scored 22 points in the Lions season opening 69-56 win over Central Bible College.

Nov. 3 — Women's Basketball: Evelyn Johnson scored two points, but the Lady Lions lost their season opener by the score of 62-39 to Mid-America Christian College.

Nov. 4 — Volleyball: Despite a loss to Southern Nazarene University, Kelani Keoho scored seven kills and in doing so, set the single season record for kills with 311.

Nov. 6 — Women's Soccer: Two SAGU Lady Lions were honored by the NCCAA by being named the NCCAA Second All-Region Team. Gina Palo and Allison Malcolm each made the team in the Lady Lions first season of play.

Nov. 10 — Volleyball: The Lady Lions season ended with a loss to College of the Southwest in the Red River Conference Tournament. The Lady Lions made have made it to the RRAC Tournament six straight years.

Nov. 11 — Men's Soccer: Chase Bishop was named the NCCAA First Central All-Region Team while Dallas Horne and Jean Cazy was named the to Second Central All-Region Team.

Nov. 11 — Volleyball: The Red River Conference named Kelani Keoho as a First All-Conference Team selection in the all-conference voting. Esther Jaquez was named to the second team and Head Coach Hank Moore was named Co-Coach of the Year.

Nov. 11 — Football: The SAGU Lions season ended with a loss to Colorado College 28-6 in Colorado Springs, CO. The Lions ended the year with a 2-8 overall record.

Nov. 11 — Women's Basketball: After winning one game and losing another game, Evelyn Johnson averaged 22 point on the road in a weekend road swing through Oklahoma.

Nov. 17 — Women's Basketball: In a strong 69-58 win over Southeastern University (FL), three Lady Lions scored season highs in points: Evelyn Johnson 26, Michelle Michener 16, and Cadie Plyant 12.

Nov. 17 — Men's Basketball: In a 69-58 win over Dallas Christian, Julio Osorio led the Lions with 24 points in the Lions second win of the season.

Nov. 21 — Men's Basketball: For scoring an average of 24 points in three games and grabbing 10.7 rebounds per game, Julio Osorio was named the Red River Player of the Week.

Dec. 9 — Women's Basketball: Evelyn Johnson scored a season high 27 points in the Lady Lions conference opener against Houston Baptist. The Lady Lions lost the conference opener.

Dec. 12 — Basketball: Despite both basketball programs losing to Langston University on the road, for the Lady Lions, Evelyn Johnson scored 26 points and the five Lions scored in double digits in the men's loss.

Dec. 15 — Men's Basketball: Jeremy Carey and Matt Daniels each posted 20 point games in the Lions final of the game of the Fall semester. The Lions lost 91-80 to Incarnate Word University.
