NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — J.T. Wise's one-out single in the 10th inning scored pinch-runner Doug Buser with the winning run as Oklahoma beat Baylor 3-2 on Saturday.
Jamie Johnson and Tyson Seng each hit a solo home run for Oklahoma (20-7-1, 2-2-1 Big 12 Conference) as the Sooners rallied from an early 2-0 deficit.
Baylor (15-9, 2-6) jumped ahead in the second, thanks in part to run-scoring groundouts by Ben Booker and Gregg Glime. Seng's homer in the fifth cut the Bears' lead in half, and Johnson tied the game with his ninth-inning shot.
Mike Gosse doubled off Baylor reliever Mace Thurman (2-1) to open the Sooners' half of the 10th, and Buser, pinch-running for Gosse, went to third base on a sacrifice bunt before Wise's single.
Oklahoma reliever Ryan Duke (4-2) threw 1 2/3 hitless innings, recording three strikeouts.
Oklahoma has won the first two games of the series, which will end Sunday.
