One day into the 2011-12 school year the Waxahachie Indians opened the team tennis District 15-4A season against county rival Red Oak. Waxahachie was ready for the match and won 18-1 with scoring being modified after Waxahachie clinched the match following its 10th win. Waxahachie will be back in district action Tuesday at Mesquite Poteet. Play begins at 4 p.m.
