Waxahachie Youth Baseball will be holding its final registration for the spring season at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the concession stand at Optimist Park ball fields.

This will be the last opportunity to register students ages 5-18 to participate in the spring season.

Registration fees are $75 per player and includes team jersey, cap, 10-game schedule, end of season

The league will also be holding its player evaluations Saturday for all players in divisions 6U-18U at the five ball fields at Optimist Park. Each division (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U) will be holding two evaluation sessions; one at 11 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. All participants must attend player evaluations.

Evaluations for the 18U division will be held at a later date. The league commissioner for this division will be contacting all 18U players of the time and date.

“We want to make sure that every kid that wants to play baseball this spring has that opportunity,” said Jerry Hill, 2009 WYB president. “But Saturday morning is the last chance to register your child.”
