The Waxahachie High School Cherokee Charmers participated in a three day private camp by American Dance/Drill Team School and received an award of excellence for all of their hard work and dedication.

The Charmers received numerous individual awards and ribbons throughout the week including:

 All American: Griselda Bahena, Hannah Blackburn, Haley Dawson, Jordan McGee, ShaunTelle Miller, Addy Munoz, Libby Power, Alexa Riddles, Rachel Rockwood, Caroline Roberts, Megan Sheffield, Alexis Thedford.

All American Honorable Mention: Denisha Cumby, Kate Del Buono, Ashria Hernandez, Macy Hill, Allyson Hyndman, Amanda Martinez, Brianna Silva, Sydni Shaffer, Carmen Villanueva.

The Charmers who were announced as All-American or All-American Honorable Mention were invited to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in New York City and have the opportunity to dance at a SMU game.

ADTS Kick Company: Addy Munoz, Rachel Rockwood, Caroline Roberts, Megan Sheffield, Libby Power, Kate Del Buono, Jordan McGee.

Gussie Nell Davis Dancer of the Week Award: Macy Hill, ShaunTelle Miller, Addy Munoz, Jordan McGee.

Spirit of ADTS Award: Erika Carson, Amanda Martinez, Courtney Raye.

ADTS Pizzaz Award: Hannah Blackburn, Emilie Bentley, Haley Dawson, Alexis Thedford.

Miss High Kick: Libby Power.

Outstanding Performer: Megan Sheffield.

Saturday the Charmers will hold their annual Applebee’s pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m. to raise money for the upcoming season in Waxahachie.
