To the Editor,

I heard someone on TV say. “When religious persons come to the door of a Federal Building/property they should leave all their religious ideas outside the door.” We live in such an educated society I wonder how this could be arranged. We do clothe ourselves with the whole armour of God, so we can just strip it off at the door. “Stand with your loins girt about the truth” so we drop all truth at the door. And “having on the breastplate of righteousness,” forget about righteousness. “And our feet are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace” no more peace, forget that. And, “with us take the shield of faith.”

This is to protect us from the “fiery darts of the wicked.” “And take the helmet of salvation,” the wicked don’t need a helmet and they hate those who have one. “Take with you the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.”

This is the preparation of Christians and we should not have to disrobe in public. I doubt that those who have no religious convictions would be happy if we acted like they DEMAND us act.

I think it has been a long time since I heard of people who are HEATHEN. Webster defines this as “an unconventional individual of a people that do not acknowledge the God of the Bible; pagan; an irreligious, uncultured, or uncivilized person.

Remember Madeline Murray O’Hare? It was “her right” to FORCE her opinion on everybody else. And she used the taxpayers money to FORCE HER ignorance on the rest of us. She lived by her own rules and regulations and fought RELIGION tooth and nail. What happened to her ... one of HER KIND, that followed “her way” became disgruntled with her and he forced HIS OPINION on her. David Waters was arrested for taking her life and cut her body up and stuffed her in a barrel along with her son and granddaughter. It seems that persons who live by “their own opinions” are not peaceable persons. Mrs. O’Hare was in a constant up-roar because she could not control other people’s life. I wonder how Mrs. O’Hare acted when she saw what she saw on her last bone chilling day? We will never know, since her killer died of cancer while in jail. At least that saved the taxpayers a bundle by not using the court system to try to prove he was innocent.

We wear our religion daily whether it is true religion or false religion. I would like for people who wear false religion to shed it when they leave their house. It can’t be done, if you think about it.
