Trump likes to use some kind of twisted comparative logic as an excuse for everything. In other words, if someone else throws bricks then it must be OK for him to do it too. It’s a typical rationalization.


What gets me is that the Republicans could have won this easily if they would have picked anyone but Trump. It must be agonizing for them.


What I want to know is when exactly do they intend to take back their party from the extremists? They know full well it’s the radio pundits that are shredding their party into an incoherent mass of incontrovertible chaos.


If the Republican leadership can’t figure out how to reign in and control the message, then their party is going to be as loose as the sand on the beach — and will last just about as long.
