Willis Fields Sr., 77, passed away on Aug. 28, 2009, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Lancaster, Texas, to Homer Virgil and Ida Mae (Willis) Fields. He was a loving husband, daddy and PaPa. 

Survivors include his wife Hazel Fields of Lancaster; his children, Willis Fields Jr. and wife Vicky of Mabank, Jodie Clymer and husband C.E. of Oak Leaf, Tim Fields and wife Billie of Midlothian, Toni Fitzgerald and husband Mike of Gun Barrel City, Tammy Lewis and husband Rocky of Ferris, Teri Stewart and husband Reggie of Waxahachie; twenty-six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Fields of Dallas; sisters, Jodi Cabe of Lancaster, Dinah Shelton of Payne Springs, Kay Shelton of Payne Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie with the Rev. Ben Linker officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster.

A visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donny Ray Smith, J.T. Collard Jr., Michael Culpepper, Johnny Lee Sutton, Terry Cole and Darrell Cole.
