Warren Ervin Gray departed this world on his birthday to be with his lord and savior. He was born March 13, 1942, in Clinton, Mo., to Ervin Kenneth and Effie Nancy Orton Gray. Warren was a truck driver and was a member of New Bethel Church of Midlothian. He loved his church and gospel music, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed bowling, cards and doing puzzles. He loved his grandchildren and all children. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by his entire family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Gray of Mansfield, Texas; stepson, Tommy and Pat Parmley of Midlothian; stepchildren, Donna Preston, Jerry Brown, Chad Deavor and Waylon Talafuse; three daughters, Kim Chandler of Tacoma, Wash., Stacie and Brian Hamblin of Los Angeles, Calif., and Wendy and George Kozlov of Fairbanks, Alaska; three sisters, Nancy Clanton of Florida, Sandy and Denny Martin of Forsyth, Mo., and Amy and Richard Wilson of Chillicothe, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Life Church of Midlothian with the Rev. Charles Stark officiating.
