“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servant (Trudie)” – Psalm 116:15. Trudie Muriel Langley Wright was born April 14, 1930, in Breckenridge, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Dallas area and the past 32 years in Waxahachie. Trudie was a Godly woman, finding her joy in serving her family, God’s people and bringing others to Christ.

Trudie is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jim; two sons, Dana Wright and wife, Sheila, Glenn Wright and wife, Jessalu; one daughter, Marsha Adams and husband, Kevin; eight grandchildren, Susan Ellis and husband, Jason, James Wright and wife, Tiffany, Brittnie Blackburn and husband, Brandon, Ashley Wright, Clancey and Brogan Adams and Garna Wright; three great-grandchildren, Avery, Austin and Aiden Ellis.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” – 3 John 14.

The family will receive friends from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Brown Street Church of Christ, with Walter Buchanan and James Beam Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.
