On Feb. 4, 2011, Rhonda Lee Minter went home to be with the Lord at 55 years of age. Rhonda was born in Lubbock, Texas on Nov. 26, 1955. She was brought into the world by Robert Edward and Helen LaVoyce Brown. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Brown; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pete and Lois Minter; and her loving son, Matthew Minter.
From high school, Rhonda pursued a career in nursing at Waxahachie Nursing School. She had a passion for the medical field and helping others. Rhonda enjoyed many things such as wood working, crafts, home remodeling, nursing, and most of all being a wonderful mother and wife. Rhonda loved and cherished her family with her entire heart making them her number priority in life. Anyone who knew her knew of her kind heart and spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Minter of Midlothian; mother, LaVoyce Brown; children, Chris Minter and wife, Cristina, Austin Minter, Brent Minter and Jenny Minter; and sisters; Donna Smesney, Debbie Gilbert and husband, Eddie.
Rhonda was without a doubt loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, cousin, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by many.
A visitation was held Sunday at Midlothian Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Midlothian Funeral Home. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
