Peggy Smiler Hall passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, in Dallas. She was born Nov.13, 1938, in Farmersville, Texas, to the late Clyde E. and Ruby J. (Sullivan) Smiler. She worked for Rock-Tenn as a production line supervisor for many years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Hall; two sisters and one great-granddaughter, Kaydence Hall. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Boyde D. Hall of Red Oak; son, Daniel Hall of Red Oak; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Tom Shafer of Palmer; brothers, Bobby Smiler of Ga. and Gerald Smiler of Cedar Hill; sister, Shirley Daniells of Venus; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Red Oak Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan.10, 2009, at the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, 1120 Cedardale, Lancaster, Texas, with Pastor Jesse Manes officiating. Interment will be at the Red Oak Cemetery.
