Thomas Wayne Kenoyer

June 24, 1954 –

Oct. 4, 2011

Thomas “Tom” Wayne Kenoyer  – son, brother, husband, father and friend – beloved to everybody he ever encountered. He lived his life with passion, ultimate dedication, conviction, love and caring and he has inspired all of those in his life to live better based on his example. Tom not only contributed to his personal life but also the public having enjoyed a 25-year career with the FBI, retiring in June 2011 in Dallas, Texas. His exceptional service as a Special Agent was performed with the utmost honor and reverence to what he held dear to his life.

Tom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April of 2006 at age 52. He did not let the diagnosis and years of illness change anything about the way he lived life or performed his service with the FBI. He approached each day with incredible spirit, bravery and undying love for his family, friends and co-workers. Tom passed away Oct. 4, 2011 with as much grace as he lived his life. He will be missed more than words could ever express by his family and friends but his life will be a forever inspiration.

Tom is survived by his wife, Jan (Casey) Kenoyer; daughters, Kayla and Brenna Kenoyer; brother, John Kenoyer; and sister, Jeannine Wittmayer.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Peg Kenoyer; and father, Wayne Kenoyer.

The family would be honored if, in celebration of his life and to make a positive effort as Tom would prefer, that memorials be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Thomas Kenoyer Memorial Fund.
