Sept. 23, 2012

Marvin Richardson Kessler, 52, of Waxahachie passed away Sunday, Sep. 23, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center in Irving. He was born July 19, 1960 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Earl Lee Kessler Jr. and Wanda Lou (Peters) Kessler. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda Rondeau almost 26 years ago on Nov. 15, 1986 in Waxahachie.

Marvin was the Worship Leader at Four Square Family Church, where music and ministry were his passion. He also was an artist and loved Disney. He was a kind, caring and generous man, who had a strong character and was very family oriented. Marvin was a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Kessler of Waxahachie; one daughter, Sherrie Kessler of Cedar Hill; one son, Spencer Kessler of Waxahachie; one brother, Earl Lee Kessler III of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Darla Diane Kessler.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Nathan Bickerstaff officiating.
