Jake “Tootie” Baugh Jr., 64, of Red Oak passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Dallas. He was born July 29, 1947 in Dallas to Jake Oscar Baugh Sr. and Margaret Shockley Baugh. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was in the U.S. Army and served his country in Viet Nam.  Jake owned and operated his own business for many years. He loved working with his hands and could build anything. He enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Doris Baugh; one daughter, Christie Baugh; one son, Jason Baugh; two grandchildren, Craig Foster and Chelsea Foster all of Red Oak; one great-grandson, Otto Allen Foster-Fuller; four sisters, Joan Sanford and husband, Kenneth, of Mabank, Dixie Thompson and husband, Leon, Judy Baugh and Jackie Vines and husband, Gerald, all of Midlothian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
