June 19, 2013
Charles Daniel Carfrey, 20, was born March 2, 1993 to the family of David II and Dawn Michelle Carfrey and was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
Charlie was run over by a car at 10 years old and according to the doctors would not survive. God gave us 10 more years with the little boy who picked flowers for Mom. Charlie graduated from Midlothian High School in 2011. He loved football, wrestling, power lifting, track and field, his family and friends, camping, riding his dirt bike, animals and especially spending time with the love of his life, Sarah. Charlie was attending LTI where he had a 4.0 GPA and was a shop foreman. He worked at Waxahachie Wal-Mart in the meat and produce department.
Charlie loved to make people laugh, stood up for his friends and what was right. He always did off the wall things to make you laugh and could not leave without a hug. Charlie is survived by his parents, David and Dawn Carfrey II; brother, David Carfrey III and fiancé, Stacie Squire; fiancé, Sarah Ross; grandparents, David and Georgia Carfrey Sr. and David and Doris Marion; aunts and uncles, RoseMarie Carfrey, AnnaMarie and Rudy Garza, Donna Roberts, David Marion Jr., Damon Marion and Christine King, Don Eric Marion and Margie Guerrero; nephews, Braden and Corbin Carfrey and numerous cousins.
Charlie will be missed in this world but we will see him again in heaven.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 23. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013, at Midlothian Bible Church. Burial was held at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
