Johnnie Earl Hanna was born Oct. 28, 1946, in Liberty, Texas, to Robert and Cecelia Hanna and went to be with his Lord Aug. 10, 2011.
He served in the U.S. Army as a medical specialist. Johnnie retired from Atlantic Richfield. He was a true disciple, never having a conversation without mentioning the Lord. He was a simple man who brought joy to all that knew him.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles Hanna.
He is survived by his daughters, LaCrecia Willis and husband, Kenneth, LaDonna Willis and husband, David, LaTonya Pisors and husband, Micah; grandchildren, Kristina, Sabrina, Felicia, Christopher, Crystal, Maysen, Johnathan, Jeremy and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Treagin, Lane, Bryson and Brenden; brother, Clay Hanna and wife, Louise; sister-in-law, Ruby Hanna; nephews, Earl and Jason; nieces, Celia and Aimee; great niece, Brittany; and a number of extended family who were very special to him. His laughter, smile and since of humor will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Harvest Hill Church, 1250 Walter Stephenson in Midlothian; followed by a 11 a.m. service and a 2 p.m. graveside rites at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
