Hannah Naomi Adkins Maness, 30, of Perryville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, in Morrilton, Ark. She was born March 31, 1981, in Waxahachie to Charles Mason and Susan (Bell) Adkins. Hannah graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1999 and received her bachelorís degree in nursing in 2004 from Harding University in Searcy, Ark. She married Brian Maness in December 2006 in Hot Springs. She loved the outdoors, going to the lake fishing, riding and mudding on four-wheelers in her Carhart bibs. She had a very special bond with her son, Landon.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Maness, and their son, Landon of Perryville, Ark.; mother, Susan Edens and husband, Eugene, of Hillsboro; one brother, Hab Adkins and wife, Samantha, of Abilene, Texas; two sisters, Chanan Townson and husband, Mark, of Waxahachie and Eden Adkins of Frankston, Texas; paternal grandfather, Charles Adkins of Waxahachie; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.†

Hannah was preceded in death by her father, Chuck Adkins; maternal grandparents, Robert and Wanda Bell; and paternal grandmother, Ethel Belle Adkins.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Mr. Walter Buchanan and Mr. Dean Kilmer officiating. Interment will follow at Forreston Cemetery.
