Elizabeth Anne Rodarte passed to eternal life on March 19, 2011, as she slept in her Midlothian home.??Elizabeth was the firstborn child to Wayne Welch and Kathleen Phillips Welch on July 14, 1982. She was a 2000 graduate of Midlothian High School and played French horn in the Panther Band. Before moving to Midlothian, she attended schools in Van Alstyne, Texas. ??Elizabeth married Daniel Rodarte on Dec. 2, 2000, in Waxahachie. She earned her medical assistant diploma and worked briefly in the field before becoming the full-time mother to four beautiful daughters. She attended Life Church of Midlothian.??Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Daniel; their daughters, Sammie, Miranda, Bailey Grace and Emalee, all of Midlothian; mother, Kathy Welch, of Midlothian; father and step-mother, Wayne and Mary Welch of Van Alstyne; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Jaclyn Welch of Keller; sister, Morgan Welch of Van Alstyne; grandparents, Bob and Lynne Phillips of Midlothian; grandfather, Cliff Welch and his wife, Mondell of Cedar Hill; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and in-laws.??She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sarah Avon Cawthon Welch.??The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 25, at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, in the Laurel Land Chapel.??In lieu of flowers, monetary expressions of sympathy may be made to the Elizabeth Rodarte Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
