Carolyn Sue “Nana” Fulton Langley, age 63, of Italy passed away Monday, July 16, 2007, in Ennis. She was born Oct. 28, 1943, in Lone Cedar, Texas, to W. C. “Bill” and Sallie Leona (Parks) Fulton.

She married Melvin J. Langley on July 2, 1971, in Corsicana. Carolyn loved to go camping and play dominoes on the computer.

She is survived by the love of her life, Melvin, of Italy; children, Tony Langley and his wife Tracy of Lampasas, Vickie Williams and her husband Clay of New Caney, Texas, Leona Fowler and her husband Steven of Italy, Christy Antle and her husband Darren of Waxahachie, Talmadge Langley and Emily Langley and James Lee Finley, all of Italy; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Luis Arnold Aparicio; special friends, Margaret Poe and Joyce Helms; brother and sisters, William Fulton of New Caney, Margie Beets of Red Oak and Laverne Branam of Corsicana; brother-in-law, J. L. Langley of Avalon; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Lori and Lexie Fulton, Bryan Fulton and numerous other nieces and nephews; dogs, Harli and Scribbles.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Gladys Beckham, Billie Minze and Edith Hall, and brother, James Keith Fulton.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Interment followed at the Dresden Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel in Italy.
