Bronwen C. Barber, age 41, passed from this life on Sept. 17, 2007 in her home, surrounded by her children. She was born in Dallas on May 10, 1966. Her parents, Glenn and Bonnie Barber, preceded her in death.
Bronwen grew up in Midlothian, graduating from Midlothian High School in 1984 with honors. She attended Eastfield College and worked 18 years with Lockheed Martin. She loved science, history, astronomy and was an avid Tom Petty fan. Bronwen was known for her contagious laugh, bright smile, sweet disposition and her love for animals. She worked with Richardson Humane Society for five years as a foster parent for rescued cats and dogs in hopes of finding them adoptive homes.
Survivors include daughter Bonnie Logan of Dallas; son Andrew Logan and girlfriend Rachel Hunter of Dallas; niece Laura Graham and her beloved pets: Eddie, Skye, Max and Callie. She will be greatly missed by all her friends.
Bronwen’s love for science and belief in medicine influenced her choice to donate her body for cancer research.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bronwen to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Richardson Humane Society. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Wooten’s Lake, 1695 FM Road 875 on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.
