Alma Wier Keller was born Sept. 25, 1926, to Charles and Bertha Jennings in Denton County, Texas.
She married Leo Keller on May 15, 1945, in Waxahachie, Texas.
Loved ones who have passed on before her are husband, Leo Keller; daughter, Kathy Keller; parents, Charles and Bertha Jennings; sisters, Ruby Peugh, Mae Smith, Kay Oliver; and brother, Clarence (Buddy) Jennings.
Survivors include son, Sam Keller, and wife, Cheryl, of Cleburne; daughters, Irene Keller and Judy Pierce of Alvarado and Janie Rebernik and husband, Jake, of Oceanside, Calif. Also, five grandchildren, Billy Pierce and wife, Amy, of Houma, La., Jennifer Spry and husband, Marvin, of Alvarado, Chris Keller of Cleburne and Stephen and Samuel Rebernik of Oceanside, Calif. Step-grandchildren include Donald Nolan and Dena Nolan of Ohio; five great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Reno Riddle of Sweetwater and Lenora Crumpton of Waxahachie; and sisters-in-law, Susie Wilson, Marie McClinton and Peggy Keller.
Alma enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting and decorating cookies and cakes. She made several family members their wedding cakes and was a Girl Scout leader. She took great pride in having children in Alvarado ISD for 24 years and often made cookies and cakes for their parties and bake sales. She also had great-granddaughters who attended AISD for a short time.
