Waxahachie police are seeking witnesses to a stabbing that occurred at about 2 a.m. Sunday.
Officers were called to the scene in the 200 block of S. Rogers St. but found no one at the location upon arrival.
Sheriff’s deputies were soon called to an address in the county, where a man told them he had been stabbed several times while leaving a club near the location of the original call, according to a Waxahachie Police Department press release.
The man’s injuries were not life-threatening, and the initial investigation determined there was some type of altercation prior to the incident, according to the release.
The case remains under investigation, and police are asking that any witnesses call the criminal investigation division with the Waxahachie Police Department at (972) 937-9940.
