Oklahomans enjoying the Memorial Day weekend could find themselves dodging raindrops.

The National Weather Service said there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the state for the next several days.

Numerous thunderstorms are forecast throughout Oklahoma on Sunday, with high temperatures to be in the upper 70s to low 80s. Scattered showers are expected Sunday night, as temperatures dip into the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Showers and thunderstorms are also likely on the Memorial Day holiday Monday, with highs ranging from the upper 70s in eastern Oklahoma to the upper 80s in southwestern parts of the state.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a chance for showers and thunderstorms across the state both days. Highs are expected in the 70s and 80s.
