AMARILLO, Texas (AP) - A fire at a water park in Amarillo destroyed parts of a building and forced swimsuit-wearing patrons to evacuate.

Splash Amarillo president Paul Johnson said he did not expect the entertainment complex to be open Wednesday.

No injuries were reported in Tuesday afternoon's fire. No damage estimate was immediatelyavailable.

Investigators will try to determine the cause of the blaze. Johnson said a mechanical room near the restrooms could be to blame.

The water park features slides, a wave pool, an arcade, volleyball courts and a refreshment area.
