The Alvarado High School tennis team defeated Cedar Hill Sept. 4 just before rain washed the matches out.

The score was 10-4 before having to pull the remaining matches off the court.

The victory brought the Indian tennis team to 3-1 for the season. The Indians were due to play Midlothian on Sept. 7 and Aledo on Sept. 11. Results of those tournaments were not available by press time.
